Conference, Metropolitans, Elevations & Honors - 06/29/10

The OCA's Pastoral Life Conference was held at Baldwin-Wallace College on 27-30 June. The feast of SS Peter & Paul fell during the conference, and the attendees used our temple for services. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, His Grace, Bishop Melchizedek of Pittsburgh, and a number of other clergy served and were in attendance. Our sister parish in Lorain brought relics of SS Peter & Paul for the veneration of the faithful. At the Liturgy, Fr Michael was elevated to the rank of Archpriest, and Fr Deacon Michael was awarded the double orarion for his service to the Church.
